According to AutoGuide.com, a
Need For Speed movie will be
arriving in theatres in February

2014, in the U.S. at least. It’s been
three months since the movie,
based on the popular driving
game, was officially announced
and now an exact release date of
7th February has been revealed.
The site writes that:

DreamWorks Studios will be
creating the film based on
the popular Electronic Arts
virtual driving games and will
be released by Disney, while
Scott Waugh of Act of Valor
fame will be tasked with
directing it.
